Review Subcommittee Positions Now Available!

The Hart House Review is now accepting applications for its 2007-2008 Subcommittee. Interested candidates should compile their responses in a word document and email them to Ramya at harthousereview@gmail.com.

Responses should not exceed 500 words. Answer ONE of the following:

1. We're going to send you to a desert island for the rest of your miserable life, and you're allowed one book. Ha. And not only that, but unless you can entertain us with a cute explanation of WHY you chose that book, we'll poke your eyes out first (survival guides don't count). You have 500 words. Go.

OR,

2. The Hearsts, the Aspers, and the Murdochs come calling. There has been a coup d'etat and you have been anointed overlord of the world's publishing houses and newspaper chains. You have a bevy of writers at your command, both living and dead. Ernest Hemingway, Sylvia Plath, and Salman Rushdie are among the many just itching to write for you. What kind of book will you demand from them and why?

OR,

3. Describe, at not so unwieldy length, the least likely but most satisfying reaction you could have to a terrible/late/sublime submission for the HHR.

Do feel free to email us with any questions.

DEADLINE: OCTOBER 28th, 2007 at midnight

*Please circulate widely
